SCORING:
The PEORIA SCORING SYSTEM
will be used to score the Tournament. This scoring
system is a blind handicap whereby a par 3, 4
and 5 hole on each nine is randomly selected.
The total pars on these six holes will be matched
against each teams score for these six holes to
arrive at each teams' tournament handicap. The
maximum score on any hole would be double par
of the hole. Any tied teams will be matched in
a scorecard playoff starting with the number one
[1] handicap hole and so on until all ties are
broken. return to top^
FORMAT:
Best 2 net balls out of 4 format, shotgun start.
Each group will be assigned an official scorer
where possible. One score per four-person team,
per hole. return to top^
TEES: Men
will play from the most forward men's tees. Women
will play from the women's tees. return
to top^
PROCEDURE:
On every hole, each member of the team hits a
tee shot [each team member's tee shot must be
used at least two [2] times]. The team then selects
one [1] of the tee shots from which to play. All
members of the team then hit from that position
or within one [1] club length, no closer to the
hole. This procedure is repeated until the ball
is holed. return to top^
IMPROVING LIE:
The ball may be lifted and cleaned on the fairway
and then placed within one [1] club length of
the original lie, no closer to the hole. A lie
MAY NOT be improved in a hazard, the rough, or
a bunker unless the area is damaged or under repair.
Sand may be raked after each bunker shot. return
to top^
PUTTING:
When putting, the ball must be placed within one
[1] putter-head length of the selected shot, no
nearer the hole. Teams are cautioned not to make
tap-ins until all team members have had the opportunity
to make the team's original putt. Once the ball
is holed out, no further strokes are permitted.

official scorer will sign the scorecards for each
team. The Scorecard will then be given to the
Tournament Management Company to be recorded as
the foursomes official score. The scorecards accuracy
is the responsibility of the Team Captain. Incorrect
scores are subject to penalties, according to
USGA Rules. return to top^
